Wheat Bread

I have been scared to death my whole life of yeast.  I have never been brave enough to try it or use it, therefore we never had amazing bread or rolls in my house.  Well, about two months ago I was determined to conquer it and conquer it I did.  It is so easy.  I don't know why everyone makes such a fuss over it.  Sometimes I don't even put it in warm water first and just throw it in at the end and it still works.   WOO HOO!!!!! Hurray for me putting on the pounds quickly with my yummy new skill.  I have tried a couple wheat bread recipes and this is my favorite.

1 cup warm water
1 TBS milk
2 TBS olive oil
2 TBS honey
2 TBS brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup bread flour
1 1/2 cup wheat flour
2 tsp yeast

Mix in mixer and knead for 7 minutes.  Let rise for about 30 minutes.  Roll out flat then roll up and lay in loaf pan.  Let rise another 30 minutes.  Bake 30-35 minutes at 400.   This last time after I rolled it out I put butter on it then rolled it up.  Super yummy and good for the pounds I'm putting on.  Enjoy!
