*~Monday's Miracle~*

Israeli Fogel Family

On March 13, 2011, in Samaria Israel, some intruders entered a home, through a window, where a family of 8 lived.  Five children were home as well as the parents.  They brutally murdered the mother, father, 3 month old baby girl, and two other children.  They didn't notice the other six and two year old who were asleep, thank God.  They first killed the 11 and 3 year old boys.  Then they found the father and newborn baby asleep on the bed and slashed the father's throat while stabbing the baby twice.  The mother came out of the bathroom, when she heard it, and they killed her too.  They then locked the front door and left through the window.  The twelve year old daughter was not home and when she arrived she found the front door locked.  She went to a neighbors house and had her come help her get in.  They knocked on the window where another child was asleep and had him open the door.  The neighbor then left.  The 12 year old walked in and found this horrific scene and ran out screaming. Crime scene photos were released to show how terrible this was.  (Just a warning if you look at them.  They made me sick to my stomach, scared me, and made me cry.)

In the meantime, the Palestinians are handing out candy and dancing in the streets celebrating the murder of this family.  They believe that murdering Jews will get you to heaven.  It is sick and pure evil.  More details here.
Now you are probably wondering, "Where is the miracle here?"  Well, this is the part in the story that holds the miracle.  Remember the 12 year old daughter who found her family murdered?  This is what she came out and said after this, "I will be strong and succeed in overcoming this. I understand the task that stands before me, and I will be a mother to my siblings."  I truly believe our Heavenly Father sent this spirit to this family for this purpose.  What an amazing power and strength this young girl has.  I believe her and I believe good will conquer evil even in this world we live it.  God will conquer and God is in charge.  He will win!  That girl is a miracle.  May we all look to her example and be our own miracle to those around us.

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles." Audrey Hepburn

Wow, what an intense story. It's amazing the evil that people choose to engage in.

But even more amazing is God's strength. His strength shining through her certainly IS a miracle! Thanks for sharing this story - as hard as it was to read in many ways.

Blessings!

What a powerful testament to the power of love over hate. ADONAI remembers widows and orphans, the oppressed; and the blood of the innocents calls out to him from the ground.

Hello There,

Thanks for linking up to the "Motivational Monday Blog Hop" I am now following you.

What a horrific story, it's so sad. At the same time so wonderful that that little girl knows the love of God.
