Accessorizing with Jewelry
Choose contrasting colors-- You wouldn't have a white bed with white walls and white carpet right? So if you are wearing a white shirt wear some color as your jewelry. If you are wearing a black dress, don't wear black accessories. Silver and black go great together. Brown and gold go great together. Color is always great especially if you have a pretty nutrual outfit.
Be careful with mixing to much-- Jewelry doesn't have to match exactly but it needs to be in the same family. You can't wear gold with pearls or black pearls with gold and brown. Make sure they coordinate.
The winner of the poll this week was pearls. To be honest, I was surprised by that. I love pearls but it seems everywhere you go right now there is silver everywhere. I think every one of them are fabulous and with the right outfit you can make any one of them look amazing.
Audrey wore pearls a lot as Holly Golightly. She wore diamonds a lot as Princess Anne. She mostly kept her jewelry simple, classy and elegant. She never was seen without at least some pearls.
I think this quote should hang on your significant others mirror a month before every birthday and Christmas.
“You can always tell what kind of a person a man really thinks you are by the earrings he gives you”. Audrey Hepburn
